Planning is always key. Set a date and time with your partner and head on over to the shops! You don’t need to spend lots of money, but you will l need a few date night essentials. Think towels, spa snacks, alcoholic beverages and (if we’re really pushing the boat out) some romantic candles.
A little closer to the date, make sure to prep your Wave Spa. Remove any leaves and debris from your water with a pool skimmer. To clean any dirt from the surface of your spa use some warm water, mild detergent and our spa maintenance kit. (Read ‘How to Clean a Hot Tub’ for more information.) Once your hot tub liner is as clean as a whistle, test your spa water with some 3 in 1 test strips. Make sure your chlorine and pH/alkalinity levels are all at the correct and safe level. Bonus Tip: Splash out on some fluffy new robes and slippers! Trust us, there’s nothing better than slipping into these after an evening spent relaxing in your spa. It’s a final extra touch that your date is sure to appreciate!

Lighting: The ultimate goal with a hot tub date night is to enjoy a sunset soak that leads into a star-studded sky. You may be lucky enough to experience this, however, you can’t always rely on mother nature to pull this out of the bag. FUN DATE NIGHT ACTIVITIES
Intimate conversation: Simple but always a great choice. With mobile phones and distractions aside, the hot tub is a perfect place to reconnect with your loved one.
